The Research Institute of Human Ecology
was established to respond to the human desire for a high quality of life in today's rapidly changing society,
social environment changes that require the industrialization of family life, and national welfare policies.
In March 1986, RIHE was stablished as a non-judicial research institute for the construction of Seoul National University’s family college and has been converted into a forensic research institute affiliated with Seoul National University since February 2002.
